Speak With IT are looking for a committed and experienced person to join the Board of Trustees. We are looking for people with experience in the following areas: strategic planning, change management, fundraising, marketing and adult speech therapy to help steer the charity as we aim to become sustainable for the long term.

Speak With IT were awarded Big Lottery funding in 2017 and have now successfully navigated year one of this funding and are moving into year two in a position of strength. We have a three person staff team who are committed to ensuring the support the charity provides for people with aphasia is the best it can be.

The Board of Trustees sets the vision, the strategic direction, and management of the charity. It is responsible for overall governance which includes being guardians of the charity’s assets, overseeing operational effectiveness. All trustees are unpaid. The Board generally meets monthly, usually on Mondays from 10am. There is also a fundraising group the trustee can be part of and a Strategy group.
