Our Response to Coronavirus

Speak With IT understands that many of our clients and the carers and helpers who support them will be facing increasing challenges as a result of Coronavirus and we want to support you as best as we can during this period.

The charity is exploring a number of ways we can continue to help you and are looking into the possibility of introducing the following:

  • A video call conversation partner scheme for people with aphasia
  • We are looking into how we turn our Aphasia Cafes into Virtual Aphasia Cafes
  • We are looking into the possibility of delivering online webinars aimed at our clients and/or their carers to help them as they try to navigate the various computer therapy programmes without the help of our volunteers.

We will be in touch with all of you very soon to let you know of our plans.

This is a surreal and unprecedented time and I want you to know that Speak With IT remains open and remains available to talk with you. Our website, Facebook page and Twitter page remain active and will be kept updated. Our charity is committed to supporting people with aphasia to communicate using technology and we will continue to do so.
