Speak With IT understand that this is a very difficult time for people, especially those who are vulnerable and alone. In order to support volunteers and clients we have pulled together a table of support services which exist to support those most in need. If you are a volunteer supporting a client who is vulnerable and needs some extra help please check our table of support services and follow the instructions.
The kind of support people might need could include: Food shopping, collecting prescriptions and urgent supplies, or someone to talk to and check in with them weekly. In some cases there is even help with setting up technology which can help people to keep in touch with others.
Councils are working in partnership with the third sector to make sure they can reach out to those in need. We know that not everyone has family and friends who can step in and help. Together we can make sure our clients needs are taken care of.
